Capital Resources
There are many private equity/venture capital resources to help entrepreneurs in their networking process of finding early stage capital and growing their business. These resources include organizations such as angel groups, venture capital groups, venture forums, matching networks, accelerators and educational forums for entrepreneurs. To locate these resources, the Center for Venture Research suggests doing an internet search for terms such as: angel network, venture capital group, accelerators, venture forums, startup funding, etc. We also recommend visiting websites such as Angel Capital Association, and National Venture Capital Association for news and information about the private equity industry, and also connecting with your local Small Business Development Center, Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Office, and SCORE office for other resources that are available to assist entrepreneurs.
