Michael J. Merenda is Emeritus Professor of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. His research interests are in: Case Research, Entrepreneurial Education in Fostering Entrepreneurship; The Venture Creation Process and Strategic Use of Information Technology in SME Competitiveness.

His writings have appeared in: Technology Innovation Management Review, Journal of Strategic Innovation and Sustainability, Sloan Management Review, International Journal of E-Business Research, Journal of Excellence in College Teaching, The Case Research Journal, Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, Telecommunication Policy, Advances in Engineering Education, Technology Innovation Management Review, and Journal of Industrial and Corporate Change. He is the author of Acting Strategically: Thinking Critically: Concepts, Cases, & Tools for Business Students (Cognella Academic Publishing, 2nd Ed., 2019) and co-author of The Sustainability Business Case Book (FlatWorld Knowledge, 2012). Dr. Merenda received his B.S. and MBA degrees from Northeastern University and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
