Paul College’s M.A. in Economics was ranked by TFE Times as among the top 40 in the country for 2016. The program emphasizes the quantitative and data-analysis skills that are needed to launch high-value careers in the public or private sector or pursue a Ph.D. degree.
Paul College’s Ph.D. in Economics is one of a handful of programs in the country that emphasizes both cutting-edge research and the study of teaching at the college level. Paul faculty members have won numerous research awards, including grants from the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, Sloan Foundation, Institute for New Economic Thinking, National Institute of Disability and Rehabilitation, Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the National Ocean and Atmospheric Association.
Assistantships and scholarships are available for both M.A. and Ph.D. students.
