Fred Kaen

Emeritus Professor of Accounting and Finance

Fred R. Kaen received his Ph.D. degree in finance and international business from the University of Michigan in 1972, his M.B.A. from Michigan in 1967 and his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University in 1963. Since 1973, he has been at the University of New Hampshire where he is a Professor of Finance and Co-director of the International Private Enterprise Center. Prior to coming to UNH, he was a financial analyst with Ford Motor Company and taught at Northeastern University. He has also been a visiting professor at the University of Oregon, The Norwegian School of Economics and Business (Bergen), the Norwegian School of Management (Oslo), the University of Hamburg and the Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration.
