The Green Launching Pad, a partnership between the state of New Hampshire and the University of New Hampshire, was unveiled earlier this year with much fanfare and bolstered by $750,000 in federal stimulus funding...included UNH professor Ross Gittell, the James R. Carter Professor and professor of management...one of the program's co-principals, A.R. "Venky" Venkatachalam, chair of the Department of Decision Sciences and professor of information systems.

Dr. A. R. Venkatachalam, Director of the Enterprise integration Research Center (EIRC) has received a grant from the New Hampshire Innovation Research Center (NHIRC). This award is part of the NHIRC's Granite State Technology Innovation Grant, which supports research partnerships for New Hampshire companies with college and university laboratories.
The project is a collaborative venture between Newport Computer Services, Inc. of Rochester, NH and Dr. A. R. Venkatachalam, Professor, Whittemore School of Business and Economics.
