Custom Programs

Our Design Process

Our faculty and staff will work to understand your organization’s strategy, culture, context and values. We collaborate with our clients to establish program objectives to address your organization’s specific needs.

After an initial meeting, a preliminary proposal is prepared providing an overview of the program design, topics, recommend faculty, and program cost.

A dedicated program coordinator and lead faculty member work with our clients and any other key stakeholders on program design and delivery. Our program coordinators are experienced in complex program deliveries and often travel to support programs offered at locations around the world. This personal attention to detail and dedication to our clients is what sets us apart from other executive education providers.

Design Options

When you work with Paul College, there is no “one-size fits all” approach to executive development. Depending on program objectives, we can design dynamic programs that include the following elements:

1. Action Learning.

We’ll work with you to identify strategic challenges and assign these to participant teams in order to provide them with a developmental “stretch” experience. Faculty advisors and coaches are assigned to each team to ensure they are prepared to present their recommendations to program sponsors.

2. Experiential Learning.

We partner with the Browne Center, a leading provider of indoor and outdoor experiential learning. The Browne Center includes a lodge-style seminar room with fireplace, a climbing wall and two state of the art challenge courses. Certified instructors are skilled in the art of transferring learning from intentionally select activities to the real world challenges of work.

3. Learning Journeys.

We leverage our vast University connections from around the world to take participants to “where the action is”. Customized itineraries will be created to bring the participant to strategic locations including corporate site visits to businesses and industries which best mirror our clients’ own business. Participants are accompanied by faculty who thoughtfully debrief learning modules to enhance the transfer of learning. International travel logistics are handled by our staff and in-country staff to ensure a seamless learning journey.

4. Blended Learning.

High-tech and low-tech approaches to learning are often used to help reinforce program content, including pre-reading, conference calls, webinars, threaded discussions, manager briefings, and internet-based simulations.

5. Case studies, lectures, small group discussions, and simulations.

Sometimes, program objectives call for a more traditional approach to executive development. Our faculty has access to hundreds of cases and simulations that can be tailored to address your company's specific needs.

6. Individual coaching or consulting.

Some clients prefer a more individualized approach to executive development. We can work with you to find an executive coach or subject matter expert to work with you to address your specific leadership or business challenge.
